International Pakistan Open School (IPOS) is a registered, non-traditional online school providing a complete learning system and structured support for homeschooling families. It combines academic learning, Islamic values, character development and future-ready skills within one integrated educational framework.

POS moves beyond rote memorisation, rigid textbooks and exam-centred learning. Children learn through activities, stories, projects, experiments, discussions and real-life experiences. The focus is on understanding concepts, developing competencies and helping every child progress confidently at an appropriate pace.
IPOS is also a USA STEAM-Certified and ISN Award-Winning School 2024.

IPOS provides a connected learning pathway for children from toddlerhood to middle school:

  • ZHAPPEE™ — Toddlers Miles with Smiles: Ages 2–3
  • Z. START™ — Integrated Early Years Learning Path: Ages 3–6
  • Z. LEVELS™ — PRIMIDDLE™ Phases: Ages 6–12, covering Grades 1–8

Each programme is designed according to the child’s developmental stage, readiness and learning needs.

Placement is based on the child’s age, previous learning experience, developmental readiness and current competencies. The IPOS academic team guides parents in choosing the most suitable programme or phase so that the child is neither overwhelmed nor held back.

The IPOS curriculum integrates English, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Islamic Studies, Qur’anic education and Tarbiyah. It also develops STEAM, artificial intelligence, coding, robotics, digital innovation, research, creativity, entrepreneurship, leadership, communication, life skills and soft skills.

This Polymath-inspired approach helps children build knowledge across different disciplines while understanding how learning connects with real life.

Yes. As an online learning platform, IPOS welcomes families from Pakistan and other countries. Its flexible and culturally connected learning system is particularly helpful for homeschooling families and overseas Pakistanis seeking quality education that combines international learning standards with Islamic values and Pakistani identity.

Parents can contact the admissions team for programme availability, placement guidance, current schedules and enrolment details.

Islamic values and Pakistani cultural identity are naturally integrated throughout the curriculum. Children learn about the Qur’an, Sunnah, Seerah, Islamic manners, duas, character-building and responsible behaviour. Lessons encourage children to become confident, compassionate and responsible Muslims while developing the skills required for the modern world.

Learning is delivered through interactive online sessions supported by engaging activities, demonstrations, discussions, stories, projects and home-based practice. Depending on the programme, students may receive live learning opportunities, recorded support and structured resources that allow them to revise and continue learning at home.

No. IPOS provides parents with clear guidance, daily planners, instructions, material lists, activity support and home-observation checklists. Teachers guide the learning process, while parents provide age-appropriate supervision and encouragement—especially for younger children.

Parents may also contact the relevant teacher whenever they need assistance.

IPOS does not rely solely on conventional examinations, marks or comparison-based grading. Students are evaluated through continuous observation, formative assessment, competency checklists, projects, activities, class participation and age-appropriate summative tasks.

Progress is recorded through stages such as Introduced, Developing, Achieved and Mastered, providing parents with a clearer picture of what the child can understand and independently perform.

Students receive programme-specific learning resources, which may include interactive booklets, worksheets, activity packs, daily planners, project guidelines and assessment checklists. Parents are also given a material list in advance so that commonly available items can be prepared for hands-on activities

Yes. Z. LEVELS™ and its PRIMIDDLE™ Phases develop strong academic foundations, conceptual understanding, independent learning and essential competencies across Grades 1–8.

The pathway is designed to prepare students for future Matric, IGCSE and O Level pathways. However, admission and certification requirements of the selected examination board or institution must be completed separately when the student reaches the relevant stage.
